What Does Your Realtor Do for You?
Just what is a Buyers Agent?
Definition: A real estate agent employed to work in the best interests of a buyer in a real estate transaction. The agent's loyalties are with the buyer. It is the agent's duty to share any information about the property or sellers that may help the buyer make decisions regarding the transaction. Agent status must be disclosed to all parties.

How can I be sure I'm choosing the REALTOR who's right for me?

At HOME AND HEARTH REALTY we are unique individual Realtors who share the common theme of offering technology based old- fashioned service. And our clients love us!

We offer a relaxed down to earth environment in which to help you find your dream home. We are diligent and persistent and will always work for your best interests.

You can expect us to assist you with all your home buying needs including: pre-qualifying for a mortgage, home inspections, pre-viewing homes to save you time, daily updates of new homes listed in the "MLS" via email or phone, negotiating your contract, scheduling inspections, and provide on the spot moral support on your closing day.

At HOME AND HEARTH REALTY we will listen to your individual needs as a Homebuyer and will not stop the search until we find you the home you want.

Tips on choosing your Realtor:

Find out if the Realtor is a member of a professional association. Realtor designates membership in a local board of Realtors, a state association such as the TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. Members are required to follow a strict code of ethics and are encouraged to pursue continuing real estate education.

Look for an agent who shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward your specific home buying needs. That isn't necessarily the person who talks fastest or longest. As a homebuyer the most important question you should ask of yourself about choosing a Realtor is "Can you work with this person?"

Remember you and the Realtor you choose will become partners while house hunting. And if you're going to choose a partner it should be with someone you are comfortable with.
